Teacher Dana

Retreat fee covers expenses only. The teachings of the Buddha have been sustained by the 2,500 year old tradition of dana, a Pali word meaning "generosity.” Teachers give the teaching freely, without charge, and it is traditional for students to support the teachers with a donation (dana). Retreatants will have the opportunity to offer dana donations to the teachers at the retreat's end. Giving dana is voluntary and anonymous.

Scholarship Fund

If you wish to make a contribution to help someone attend the retreat, please indicate this on the registration form, the amount will be added to your total and these funds will be set aside just for student assistance. We offer a limited number of partial scholarships in the $100-200 range.  Scholarship amounts are based on financial need, the number of requests and donated funds.  We ask that scholarship recipients choose the less expensive accommodations like camping or the Dharmatory yurt. To apply for a scholarship, please ask the registrar (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for a Scholarship application.

You have the option to register and just pay a $150 deposit.  The full payment is due by March 12th.  Before March 12, 2020, the deposit or full payment is refundable minus a $25 processing fee. After March 12, no refunds will be offered due to our financial commitment to the retreat center. In the event of special circumstances, each case will be considered individually when the retreat is over.
