Meetings with Remarkable Buddhist Women: 2 March evenings with Roshi Linda Myoki Lehrhaupt, PhD (2)
Meetings with Remarkable Buddhist Women
There is a great deal of clarity, intention and spirit that can be appreciated through learning about the lives of great Buddhist women, both in the past and in modern times. Through familiarizing ourselves with the lives of such Matriarchs as Mahahprajnapati, Patacara, Ryonen, and contemporary teachers such as Pema Chödron and Joko Beck, among others, we will explore how we can be inspired and motivated in our own practice.
The class includes periods of meditation, a talk, group discussion and sharing. A reading list will be provided, but it is not necessary to do the reading to participate in the class. Participants of all genders are heartily welcome..
This two-part course is offered in-person only. All are welcome.
