About
Kirtan is an ancient devotional practice that uses singing of mantras (japa). It is also known as Bhakti Yoga — the yoga of devotion, or the yoga of love. When ancient Sanskrit mantras are wrapped in luscious layers of music, the result is a treat for all the senses that can have a profound impact on your well-being. The Infinite Compassion Orchestra blends the traditions of East and West on instruments from India, Europe, North America, Africa, and beyond. At the heart of our music is mantra — the sacred syllables also known as “the many names of God.”
